Reimbursement vs. Wages
Federal law says mileage reimbursement is not wages — as long as the amount reasonably covers what the employee actually spends. Reimburse too much and the excess gets reclassified as pay, which changes your labor costs.
Vehicle-Specific Rates Are Allowed
The Department of Labor confirmed that employers can reimburse based on what each vehicle actually costs to operate. You are not required to use the IRS standard rate — a reasonable approximation of actual expenses is enough.

Each store includes up to 30 employees in the base price. If you have more, additional blocks of 15 employees are $50/store/month. Employees who work at multiple stores only count once.
Most operators are running their first schedule the same day they sign up. Add your stores, invite employees, build a schedule with templates or the auto-scheduler, and publish. Onboarding support is included with every plan.
Yes. Skedova is available on iOS, Android, and web. Employees can view shifts, request time off, pick up open shifts, swap with coworkers, and get push notifications — all from their phone.
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. Cancel from your billing settings and your account stays active through the end of the current billing period.
Sign up through secure Stripe Checkout. After that, the Skedova team reviews your account — typically the same day — and you'll receive an email with a login link once approved. You won't be charged during your 14-day free trial. Cancel anytime before it ends and you pay nothing.
If you don't cancel before your trial ends, you'll be charged for the plan you selected at signup. You can change plans or cancel anytime from your billing settings, and your data remains intact either way.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing settings. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle and are prorated.
The one-time $200 setup fee covers account configuration, onboarding assistance, and initial setup to get your team started quickly.
